An Applied Mathematics and Statistics major may apply at the end of the junior yearfor admission to the Accelerated BS/MS Program. To be considered applicants must have an overall GPA of at least 3.3, and at least 3.5 in the major, and have completed at least 3 upper division courses in addition to AMS 301 and 310. AMS 311 is highly recommended for students interested in statistics. Exceptions are made for students who perform exceptionally well in their junior year.
Students should apply by filling out the following application form, which requires a transcript, a statement of purpose, and two letters of recommendation. Only the Statistics track is available at SUNY Korea BS/MS Program. The deadline for application is June 1st for Fall admission and December 30th for Spring admission.

SBU offers several graduate tracks within the AMS MS program, such as Statistics, Operations Research, Computational Applied Mathematics, and Computational Biology.
For students applying through SUNY Korea, the Statistics track is the option currently available.
