Young-Seon Lee, Associate Professor, has completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Utah and finished his postdoctoral training at Cornell University and Icahn school of medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
Current his teaching interest focuses on developing mathematical and critical thinking in the classroom through problem-solving. Also, he has research interests on the parameter estimation of mathematical models using Bayesian statistical inference, which is being applied for assessing cardiac safety in new drug development.
