On June 10, 2026, the Department of Business Management at SUNY Korea hosted a Career Talk & Networking Event featuring Hyeonik (Glen) Park, a Business Management alumnus from the Class of 2025. Held at the SUNY Korea Lounge, the event attracted approximately 50 students who gathered to gain valuable insights into career development and life after graduation.
The event aimed to provide students with practical guidance on career preparation while creating opportunities for meaningful interaction with a recent graduate who successfully transitioned from university to the professional world. As an alumnus of the Business Management Department, Glen Park shared his experiences navigating the job market and discussed how his academic experiences at SUNY Korea helped prepare him for his career journey.
During the session, Park spoke about the importance of building professional skills, developing a strong network, and maintaining adaptability in today’s rapidly changing business environment. He also reflected on the challenges and opportunities he encountered after graduation and offered practical advice on internship experiences, job searching, and career planning.
The event fostered a sense of community while strengthening the relationship between current students and graduates of the Business Management program. The Department of Business Management continues to support students’ professional growth by connecting them with alumni and industry experiences, helping prepare them for successful careers in an increasingly competitive global business environment.
