Dr. Joseph S. Cabuay is an Associate Professor for Technology Systems Management at SUNY Korea – Stony Brook University. In this connection, he is  the Department of Technology & Society (DTS) Faculty Senator for the University Senate Committee where he concurrently serves as Chair of the Education Council. His corporate/applied research focus is on Technology Systems Management, A.I. & Management, & A.I. and Executive Leadership Development. He also serves as a Senior Advisor for iSCilab, a comprehensive A.I. solutions firm, and Senior Advisor/Facilitator for Global Management at the National Human Resource Development Institute (NHI) under the Korean Ministry of Personnel.

With 35 years of global work experience, Prof. Cabuay is a Certified Executive Leadership Facilitator-Coach, Leadership Speaker, and Principal Management Consultant. He specializes in Global Leadership Development, Dynamic Team building, Global Strategy, Strategic Tech Sales, Tech Venture Management, Investor Relations,  Cross-Cultural Leadership-Management, Strategic Alliances, and Strategic Communications.

Prof. Cabuay has successfully trained, consulted, and coached hundreds of business executives and managers of corporate firms worldwide in the IT, telecom, airline, manufacturing, finance/banking, and energy sectors on people efficiencies, self- efficiencies, and operational efficiencies at a global scale while allowing business leaders to expertly calibrate and optimize on the business and technical value of their enterprises.  As a master speaker, he leads energetically in solving, driving, and creating specific and measurable needs at the operational, management and executive levels of complex global organizations.

Prior to becoming a Principal Management Consultant and Business Professor, Prof. Cabuay was Vice President for Global Business Development and Investor Relations for the NYC Economic Development Corporation where he and his team were instrumental in attracting over 193 hi tech firms to NYC. Before the NYCEDC, he was senior UN Officer for the UN Secretary General responsible for global security coordination, global business liaison activities, and presidential communications. Prof. Cabuay is a decorated U.S. Marine and served in several special assignments of a highly classified nature with the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. State Department worldwide.
