Requirements for Declaration of AMS Double Major or Transfer to AMS
Students who entered SUNY Korea before Fall 2018 should follow the old requirements
'Complete Single-variable Calculus I and II (AMS 151 & AMS 161) and Linear Algebra or Calculus III (AMS 210 or AMS 261) with average GPA of 2.5. The applications will be reviewed and a decision will be made at the end of the semester.'
Students who entered SUNY Korea after Fall 2018 (including Fall 2018) should follow the new requirements
Grades of B-minus or better in linear algebra (AMS 210 or MAT 211) and multivariable calculus (AMS 261 or MAT 203 or MAT 205),
An overall GPA of 2.8 or better in all attempts of calculus (calculus I, II, III, A, B, C) and linear algebra,
At most one of the courses in calculus (calculus I, II, III, A, B, C) and linear algebra may be repeated, and
Completion of course evaluations for all transferred courses that are to be used to meet requirements of the major.
