In many areas people want to predict the Nature of interest such as weather prediction, ocean forecasting, and/or climate change. However, it is impossible to predict the exact state of the Nature. It is partially because of only partially available, contaminated observations, imperfect mathematical representation for the Nature and so on. In this talk, I’d like to introduce what kind of efforts experts are making in order to have better prediction in the field of Geofluid dynamics, for example, Numerical Weather Prediction and Numerical Ocean Forecasting.
